These seven bundles of joy came as quite a surprise for Imgur user Oowth, who took in her friend's cats when the friend left for the Navy. A few days after the cats arrived at her home, her friend called to let her know that one of the cats, Terra, looked a little bloated.
A few days later the suspicious sound of mewing alerted Oowth to the new arrivals. Mama cat took to her babies quickly and seemed happy to nurse and care for them.

While mama and her kittens were getting used to each other, they were given names like Fred and George (the red ones), Tesla, Schrodinger, Dutchess, Minerva and Honey Boo-Boo. The collars help identify each kitten.
Another household member, a weiner mix, took a keen interest in the kittens too. He'd regularly try to get to them. When he was finally granted permission (under careful supervision), the sweet dog licked them all over.
They've since become best buddies with the pup regularly playing with them, offering piggy back rides and even kidnapping them to other rooms!

The dog and kittens seem to enjoy each other's company. Honey Boo-Boo eventually had one of her eyes removed (and received a new moniker too: Honey Peek-a-Boo Boo.) Watching these pets pal around kills the old theory that dogs and cats don't get along.
